Do you have a story that has been on your heart, that needs to “get out.”?
My experience as a Pastor and Psychotherapist has me convinced that people have stories that need to be told. I have listened to hundreds of men, women and children, share their stories. Some are very sad and others are incredibly joyful. It is very beneficial to “get it out there” and be transparent and honest.
There are clients and customers that have done that and you are willing to examine the samples of some of these stories in book form. Yes, they wanted their story in writing, in book form, something they could give to their friends and family and others, people that wanted to read about them and their life.
The following are some of the samples of books that I have written and self-published.
“Finishing the Race”
This is a summary of my personal journal of forty-five years, a personal account of my transformation from Gestalt Psychotherapist and Humanistic Psychologist to Christian Pastor. There are events of dramatic physical healings and spiritual awakenings.
The idea that healing and salvation as described in the Bible is real today is very controversial, but I was transformed.
These accounts will make you more frustrated or draw you closer to Christ. If you are of the mindset that God is not real in your life and not real in the world, then these accounts will challenge you.

“Christian Discipline”
In 1978, I received a grant from the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health, to develop and implement a training program, in Southeastern Massachusetts, utilizing small church groups. This program would train participants to understand the effect of family relationships, both good and bad, and their influence on the use and abuse of drugs.
This is a summary of that program. The MA Department of Mental Health evaluated the results as highly effective but could not accept the findings because of the religious language of the report.
Some of the concepts that are dealt with are “mistakes vs. sin”, dealing with “guilt”,
“the purpose of punishment”, “reconciliation”, “the Law of Sin and Death.”
Eight church groups were trained of different denominations, Catholic, Baptist, Lutheran, Presbyterian, Methodist, and four of the eight groups continued to meet to provide counseling support to their communities.

“Karen and Two Boys”
In 2021, Karen was taken to jail for her association with her husband, an MS13 gang member convicted and sentenced to twelve years in jail. His associates were sentenced to life in prison with no parole.
This is a story of Karen’s faith and trust in God, having peace knowing that He is giving her all good things, and giving her the strength and love to take care of her two autistic boys.

“Jesus Loves Me”
A tabletop book, 9”x11”, in English and Chinese, for children, a pictorial story that will capture children’s and adult’s attention. Hardbound and easy fold, the pictures are from an artistic mime performance captured on video years ago.

The beginning and development of StreetLight Ministries to the homeless and poor inhabitants of Prince William County, Virginia.
You will be challenged to begin to understand how God sees our responsibility to the poor, homeless, elderly and the prisoner.
