Early on in my Gestalt psychotherapy practice, I realized that I had this unique ability to see and understand conflicts within people. Sometimes, in my clients, it was heavy and warlike. Bringing those internal conflicts out in the open and into awareness and giving the warring sides a voice was always the beginning of their resolution. It was not until my own internal conflicts were exposed that I realized this ability was given to me by the Lord.
